Edit: had a larb which was not properly done, the pork was not minced nearly at all and was very clumpy. Conversely, Fantastic selection of great priced and delicious Thai food. All presented beautifully and swiftly. A must try if in Kensington 🫢

Today I drive past Kensington area and found this cozy Thai restaurant in the corner which well-decorated. We ordered chicken wings and Tom yum soup for entree. The time that the food came out, I tried the fried chicken wings and it’s so crispy and tasty with the seasoning that they put it on top. For Tom yum prawns, the price is $11 but so valuable and delicious. But our best dish today is fried rice!!πŸ’› I loved fried rice so much, they put broccoli, carrot and tomato as the veggies in fried rice and the taste reminds me of my childhood fried rice in Thailand🩷 will come back✨ thanks for making us a good experience 🍚

REVIEW: Food and drink wise: - The salads were my favourite! They have that tanginess that's just a burst of flavour in your mouth. Would recommend this still. - The coconut rice was a little bit dry, but I let them know. Complete opposite experience to my first time when it was too soggy! - The thai milk tea wasn't too sweet, which meant I could drink so much of it without feeling that energy high!! Service was so personable and friendly. The gentleman does a great job at providing such a warm and inviting atmosphere. The seats were up against the wall, which meant we could bring a little 7 month old and he could still join in with the dinner festivities as he was laying down. -------------------------- ORDERED (FEB 2023): πŸ₯£ Tom Yum Goong: A classic thai soup that blends sour, salt, and spicy and sweet taste. Comes with prawns ($11.00) πŸ¦€β€Š S&P Soft Shell Crab: Seasoning crispy soft shell crab serve with thai style green apple salad ($20.00) πŸšβ€Š Pineapple Fried Rice: The combination of a sweet and savoury creates a unique Thai style fried rice ($16.00) πŸ¨β€Š Black Sticky rice with coconut ice cream ($7.00) Spent $27.50pp here REVIEW: It's a really good Thai place in the local area. My mother and my favourite dishes were the soft shell crab & the coconut ice cream. Perfect crispy soft shell crab which showcases its iconic sweetness when it's paired with the thai, tangy, green apple salad. It's a fantastic combination. Then the coconut icecream has a light sweetness, with a slight nutty flavour that is so fragrant. It's one of the best coconut ice creams around and would highly recommend this! As for the other dishes, my mother and I found that: - Tom Yum Goong could be thinned out. Previously, the I've had the soup is more watery which is the perfect consistency. Felt like it was too salty. - Too much cumin in the pineapple fried rice. Really bordered onto Singapore Noodle kind of punchiness, and the rice was too moist for me. Needed to be drier. - Black Sticky rice was okay, but I'm more used to it being less glutinous like in Vietnamese desserts. Still not a bad choice to eat with the coconut ice cream though! Service is friendly with bright smiles, and it's great to dine inside.

Ordered basil fried rice with prawns for $17. Nice wet texture and strong basil flavour. Usually don't like wet fried rice but this one was nicely done. Interesting inviting decor. Surprised they only open at 1pm on a Sunday.
